convalescence

being ill when you're human is never easy

being ill when you're a cat must be quite intolerable

yesterday lunchtime she vomited - twice (I've never heard a noise like the just before bit!) I spoke to the vet's receptionist, who said it was possibly still the after effects of the anaesthetic

the remains of the day were spent lying on her cushion - hot water bottle one side of her and wheaty warmer the other

today was going to be a new day

but she's just vomited again, and the vet receptionist says this now is not the after affects of the anaesthetic. the vet receptionist also said if I'd have called earlier I could have been 'fitted in' . . . . . I'm sorry, I said, she's only just vomited, prompting this call to you

I don't think we're going to get on

she has said she will try and fit me in tomorrow, in the surgery 40 minutes away . . .
