A host of golden daffodils . . . . . . . !

On my way down to Thirsk this morning I detoured briefly to Ullswater, a mere 4 miles from the M6.

I was pleased to find some daffodils beside the lake, which I hope are the real Lakeland daffodil, Narcissus pseudonarcissus!

Went on to Thirsk, met my sister off the London train and we went on to Sowerby to visit Gordon, who is my 1st cousin once removed.
