Taken on the way back from Socrates Cafe, where the main question was "Is Flattery Wrong?" Turned into a really interesting and wide-ranging discussion from the individual case where you tell a white lie about a friend's performance on stage to the institutional implications of flattery for politics and education.

I see also that the Jambos were confirmed (arithmetically, not mathematically imho) as league champions in the Scottish Championship when their Edinburgh rivals lost at home to Rangers. First time I think Rangers had beaten either of the Edinburgh teams since Rangers' reincarnation.
