Vietnam Blue

We haven't been able to take full advantage of the Vietnamese breakfasts. Chicken curry, fried fish balls or vegetable soup just doesn't appeal at the start of the day. We get by with exotic fruit, omelettes and jasmine tea.

Following breakfast, off we went to walk along the beaches. The sky was almost cloudless, the wind was light and the water was clean and clear. There was the occasional rocky outcrop with deposits of discarded plastic and other rubbish but not on a scale to spoil the walk.

There were plenty of signs of local fishing activities including these 'tub' boats. They would hold one or two people and they wouldn't go far from shore! Looks like considerable skill would be required to get them to where they should be and to keep them there.
