Sunset after the storm
What a weekend! The forecast was rain and thunderstorm. And it was.
Looking at the Weather Bureau, the rain was brought about by the current cyclone in Northern Queensland, some 1000+Km away.
According to the news, some section of Queensland has hailstones the size of tennis ball falling on them and of course flash floods.
In Brisbane, the sky scenes were of ominous black clouds rolling in over the already grey sky, followed by the heavy downpour for a couple of hours.
Forecast, to expect more rain until Easter (2 April).
I should not be complaining about the lack of rain and water for the garden now. Looking back a few months, we desperately needed the rain.
