Cemetery Sunday: Clodock again...

It is such a rich cemetry, with so many ancient graves. I often wander around and never seem to see the same things twice!

They were digging a trench to the church, from the road, messing up some graves. Stones were lifted and turf taken off some of the old slabs. This gave plenty of visual interest but in the end I decided on this detail of a completely overgrown and crumbling tomb.

It did leave me with curiosity though: what did they find while digging the trench?
