In the Sea at Troon

Went to Troon for the first time today. It was hot and sunny with less wind than yesterday. We had a picnic on the beach and then went for a paddle in the sea. It was warm enough to swim in had I brought my trunks. Had to make do with rolled up jeans. Orla had a great time.

It was one of those "why haven't we done this before?" days. It's only an hour to Troon. It was fine, even with the hour-hour roadworks delay we experienced on the way there. Orla was happy learning about letters and numbers on the iPad.
