The notice at top of cliff warns that cliff diving is highly dangerous; can result in fractures to spine and vertebrae or serious bruising. We watched one lady who fell awkwardly with a terrific smack onto the water. She struggled out clutching her thigh, which was extremely red. I think she may be one who will be suffering serious bruising.

Watching them is fascinating, and heart- stoppingly gripping.
