Greater Flamingo

The Flamingos are back in Oman! There are also a sizeable number as well, which is great to see. This flying one does look very much like it is a flying dinosaur don't you think? Plus the structure of the wing looks as though it's already been dissected by that German Doctor- the controversial one who has shows of dead animals all showing their anatomy? Anyway I was so pleased to see that these magnificent birds are back and are settled in Azaiba on their own lagoon. This one only had areas of pink, but there were a couple of very pink birds. The biggest bird visiting Oman is back!
