Lucky Black Cat

Today was good in a lot of ways. I delivered some prints to a gallery then we went to Rheged to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. Lots of photos I wish I had taken!

Next I had a good chat with a bride-to-be about the wedding photos she wants us to take.

Had a nice lunch at the Cocklakes farm shop where I found a very friendly black cat. By this time I was really motivated to follow my daughter's ideas about de-cluttering based on a book by Marie Kondo. It's all about getting rid of things that no longer "spark joy".

I quite happily sorted out over 40 pieces of glassware that I realised I didn't need to keep by getting them all out onto the worktop and only putting back what I needed or sparked joy as I held them.
