Taking a rest
A lovely day so this afternoon we dropped David at Eden Court and went to the Cathedral as the Bell tower was open today. However there was no one there just lots of 'Do nt do !' signs and it would have been 50 steps up some difficult looking steps so we decided not to wait for the person to appear to give us permission to go up and went down to se if we could see the King Fishers. It was really busy , lots of people and lots of noise so think they were hiding. We did see the Dipper though.
After that we went to Dochgarroch and walked along part of the Caledonian Canal. It was so warm I did nt take a jacket.
The water so very calm nd these reflections were in a small pond to the side of the canal. There were a few people working on their boats. It was very peaceful. Two swans happily swam past and posed for the camera.
Three row boats from Inverness rowing club rowed past with coaches on either side shouting orders. Really shouting at the rowers. They sounded quite scary !
There was a lovely old loch keepers cottage where a lady was tending her garden. It looked beautiful with the Spring flowers coming out.
A lovely Spring day enjoyed by a lot of people :)
