Looks Like Spring, Feels Like Winter!

It was a beautiful sunny day with a blue sky and fluffy clouds. It really looked as if spring was racing along.
However, when we stepped out of the house the icy wind cut through our clothes (return to house for jacket!) and a check of the thermometer showed +1° C.   Brrrr!
A sunny and cold day is still much better than a grey cold day so the sun did make our walk very pleasant!
These birches are growing where the forest was felled around 15 years ago.  They look very beautiful in the sunlight, giving the forest a light look.
By the way, today was 7 minutes longer than yesterday for us.  In all the excitement of the partial eclipse we almost missed the equinox going by!
