Solar Eclipse

This may be the most underwhelming solar eclipse photo you will ever see in your life. All because i refused to purchase a solar filter or neutral density filter when i had the chances ages ago. The desire to want to have an ND filter only came upon me on the night before the solar eclipse. Of course Amazon does not have an employee as fast as The Fast who can send package to me overnight and so I am stuck with this (and you as well).

I also did the hole in a board thing and got a tiny miniscule projected eclipse. Not fascinating but still better than nothing. The whole solar eclipse experience was a little bit disappointing only because I expected so much from it. The first solar eclipse i experienced in the Philippines when i was in grade school was a very noticeable solar eclipse since at midday or at the time when the sun is supposed to be very very bright, it suddenly just becomes so dark in the next few minutes. But still I am very thankful that i get to experience solar eclipse at another part of the world.

I envy the people who got to post proper photos of the eclipse. Shall i order ND filters now? The next solar eclipse will not be until 2026 here in the UK. Although i dont think i will still be here that year. There is another one in the Philippines next year though.
