Shalders on da Rocks
It's been a great day of sunshine and fairly warm too when in shelter :) Just typical that the sun goes behind the clouds when I finish work!
I've been working in the museum today and it's been a steady day of folk coming in but quieter than usual, think everyone has been out enjoying the fine day. My exhibition I set up yesterday has been very popular today and got plenty of names for people in the photos.
Evening off and I'm heading to an auction sale in Sandwick with Brian and taking my niece Elise along too. Hopefully get a good bargain :)
I had to nip home at lunchtime and with the fine day, I headed for a walk to the Cunningsburgh pier. Lovely calm waters and plenty of fish in the harbour too :) Not only the humans out enjoying the fine weather, these Shalders (Oyster Catchers) were out too :) Mousa can be seen in the distance and the lighthouse :)
