Beam me up Scottie

Due to the solar eclipse, the tide was particularly low on the local beach so we walked out as far as we could hoping that the tide was not due to come in while we were out there.  In the distance the sun was shining through the gaps in the clouds - these beams are sometimes known as God's fingers.  I thought it looked like beams from the transporter on the Starship Enterprise!
