Rach's Hens

I'm just home from Rach's hens night - all the young ones are off to town, that was my cue to sneak home. Not sharp, but she wasn't sitting still for no one - and I only took one picture. Thats her bridesmaid with her.

Rach & I go back a long way having worked together for many years, and have remained very close friends.  She is getting married in Koh Sumui next month, she's Welsh and picked a halfway place for her family and the NZ ones - we were invited but have opted not to go as we have a wedding in Ireland next year which we are hoping will get to!

What an amazing game of cricket our boys played this afternoon against West Indies - Guptill scored 237, the total score was 293 - 6.  Naturally the Windies (who could) couldn't chase a score like that.  A very good win - I managed to watch the 1st Innings but had to go to the doo so missed the 2nd innings. And, whats more our Crusaders blitzed the  Cheetahs 57 - 14 so all good in the sporting world tonight! Its 11.30 and we're watching the rugby replay.

Big bike ride this morning - we have a new bike track, opened a couple of weeks ago,  along the cliffs locally - bit "grunty" for this old girl.
