Early Memories - antidote to too much eclipsing

but it was good to be with so many people up at the Observatory overlooking the Clifton Suspension Bridge.  First S and I looked at the Camera Obscura - not enough light to see much - and then we people watched and saw how many different ways of capturing the eclipse there were.  Mine was with a steamer pan - flat bottomed with lots of holes that each repeated the same shape  on the TV man's white van when I held the pan about 6 feet away with the sun shining through.
