We walked along the canal path for a while then caught the bus into Chester to meet up with our son & had lunch in a nice little pub.
It was very hot & Chester races were on so the city centre was heaving with people so we sat in the shade by the town hall.
The fluttering Union Jacks ready for the Jubilee caught my eye & the little girl was running up & down the steps waving her flag.
