Very cloudy eclipse

This is as good as it got! The clouds cleared slighlty for a few seconds only when it was almost over.

R made me laugh. At the time of the eclipse they were inassembly being told how rare a solar eclipse is and how they should make the most of it, yet they kept them in the hall and they got a tiny glimpse when they were finally released!

It was almost a wildlife photo. We had 2 frogs or toads in the pond who looked like they were very familiar with each other, the blue tits were examining the nesting box again, and mr blackbird who lives in the conifer outside the kitchen window started to sing his melody today.. Spring on it's way maybe?
