Edinburgh #eclipse

I tried hard to resist the pull of seeing a 98% solar eclipse, but curiosity got the better of me. Headed to the Scottish Parliament to join the other skywatchers. Had my iPhone with me but still managed a couple of decent shots.

When I got home I discovered that my son, who was off school ill, had managed to take some superb shots using my old DSLR from our back door. He'd emailed them to his teacher and we heard later that one was picked for the school Facebook page. That's my boy!
