Hostel Doorway

A quick trip to the west end on my lunchtime walk.

What is now the Caledonian Backpackers Hostel used to be Caledonian United Services Club. Hence the three emblems.

The top keystone is an anchor and rope with three ships representing the Navy. On the left there is a spandrel with crossed swords with a laurel wreath representing the Army. The right spandrel has a flying eagle surmounted with a crown, the RAF.
