The Big Dig!

What a stunning afternoon! I helped with others to plant varieties of willow and silver birch trees at school this afternoon. I am no Alan Titchmarsh, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that they take root and flourish so that the children can enjoy seeing them grow and develop over the coming months.

The eclipse was very interesting. An eerie silence seemed to fall, I was quite glad when the birds started chirping again and the day carried on. A great sight to experience though.

Happy it is the weekend. Looking forward to a quick bath and watching Bear Grylls - Mission Survive.
