Eclipse Eclipsed

I'm going to buck the trend here. The eclipse was really interesting, but I didn't find it quite the emotional thing, virtually spiritual, that many found it. Oh, and anyone saying it was a once in a lifetime thing obviously doesn't expect to be around in another 11 years, and was born after 1999...

But I was there, dutifully set up in the garden, not needing any solar filters with the at-first-cursed clouds providing a rather good natural filter. So yes, I got some photos.

But the rest of the day was down in the Borders, visiting Sir Walter-Scott's gaff at Abbotsford, and it was great to see, with a great lunch afterwards.
