Eclipse

It was a lovely clear morning - ideal for an eclipse.

Dropped off The Cygnet with SWMBO for a chat with the speech therapist (The Cygnet is still being lazy with forming some sounds).

Went back to the house and set up the tripod as the clouds rolled in.

The glimpses of "the event" were so short and infrequent that I didn't experiment with settings.
I should have.
My shots were rubbish.

So between that and the fact that there are dozens of other (much better) ones around, you get a robin on a carved bench (in light of the fact that the buzzard failed to make an appearance again today ...... although there was a large amount of rabbit? fur where I have seen him).

SWMBO and I are going to have an earlyish meal this evening and then we are going to head south to give support to No1 Son and missus ......... Butterfly is not well. She has been in hospital twice this week with croop.
From the phone call we got last night from daughter-in-law it is obvious she needs a hug.
