Projection

Ok its a crap photo. But I thought I'd add to the collection on here.

We set the telescope up to project the sun onto a bit of white card, but then realised it would also project onto the wall as large orb being slowly consumed by another orb.

The beauty of the projection was that we could see sun spots on the surface, a very large one in the lower LH quadrant. No honest, its not dirt on the screen or lens! 

When it neared totality at 09:36, the cloud had rolled in so the projection was no more, but I got some good smiley sun pics directly through the cloud. Slightly disappointed that the predicted calmness, darkness, birds sleeping, wind dropping yada yada didn't occur (as far as I could tell), but it was still a special sight.
