The eclipse ...

Standing in the school playground with 200 children really wasn't going to give the "it all goes quiet" eclipse experience, and to be honest they were all a bit underwhelmed. The p1 boys and girls I was talking to were worried about how dark it would be, thinking we'd be plunged into darkness... It was just like a normal dark rainy day and they weren't impressed. They were glad to go back in as Friday morning is golden time day! I only had my iPhone with me so my picture is cropped on photoshop. It was cloudy enough that glasses and pin hole cameras were a bit superfluous.

I'm blipping early today as the boys and I are off on a sleepover tonight...a peaceful eve for Al! A sleepover means G n I can share a bottle of prosecco and a chat while taking it in turns to tell the boys to go to sleep :-D
