World Book Day / Leonard Nimoy / Mr Spock

Took a shot of our bookshelves here, in honour of World Book Day. As can be seen, it's a pretty eclectic snapshot. Books about: fishing; the Pictish Trail; understanding Islam; the history of Wales; the Wicker Man (on which the film was based); and a Brett Easton Ellis novel. Sandwiched in amongst all this, is the recently-deceased Leonard Nimoy's autobiographical writings, "I am Spock", which he wrote having eventually become comfortable with people's never-ending perception of him only as the character "Mr Spock". So, the picture is a tribute to Nimoy/Spock, too, one of my childhood TV heroes.
