Almost pink flower

This is the same flower i blipped 2 days ago. I got nice comments on the beautiful color the problem is that the flower really is pink not violet so i tried to reproduce the color Forgive the grain it was cloudy. Eventually i used a custom color temp of 8400K which warmed everything up but i still had to add magenta and blue and still haven't gotten it. I find that color balance along with poor resolution is a real problem with this camera, an Olympus E510 DSLR. Ive been wondering if others have color problems with their SLRs
