How exciting!

At 59 years and 364 days old I am so excited at having seen this solar eclipse!  I got up early, sorted out chilli for tea, did the washing and prepared myself...

SHH improvised us a long cardboard box with greaseproof paper and pinhole and we have gazed at the sun through our box.

Amazing!  Amazing!  Amazing!

I know there will be some spectacular shots but this is what we have seen in our back garden through our own cardboard box on the last day of my 59th year.

I want to cry with joy and wonder...
