One species each day (from my backyard)

My Nikon D750 finally arrived today after almost 7 weeks away for the 'flair' recall. Now I no longer have an excuse for not committing myself to upload one photo each day on blipfoto. So here is my first contribution, a photo of a Kniphofia sp. taken after I came home from work. It's autumn now and the sun is getting low, and there were just enough of its rays to highlight this flower against a shady background.
