First!!

7.00 a.m.
I expect there will be lots of photos of the solar eclipse today but I guess I am first.
In the North East of Scotland, we were privileged to be given a preview and here is the photo I took.
It really was pretty amazing.
Gradually, it became darker. The birds and the animals fell silent and the whole countryside took on an eerie quality.
I'm not surprised that people in the past thought it might be an apocalyptic event!!
This is # 18 of 26 and it seems to be strangely appropriate.
