Hard Work, Rewarded

My younger son just completed an occupational therapy assistant program and this evening was the "pinning" ceremony that officially concluded the course and sent this fresh new cohort off to their required six months of fieldwork. Due to mixed signals, we arrived half an hour after the ceremony had begun, but just in time to hear my son's name called out to receive his pin! The room broke into applause as we entered right on cue! Happy day, and feeling very proud.
