At the risk of making a few mortal enemies, I will say that I am not into this Jubilee thing at all, but at least if we must have bunting, let it not be garish or made of plastic. Well done Lonsdale Mews, NW6!
If you want to know why 'tammy', here's the Wikipedia explanation: Bunting (or bunt) was originally a specific type of lightweight worsted wool fabric generically known as tammy, manufactured from the turn of the 17th century.
