Redwing blackbirds.

Unfortunately, this is about how close I can get to a bird without it flying away. These are Redwing blackbirds, making that funny shrill from the tops of cattails. I guess they are too far away for me to be able to pick up the red in a photo. I might scribble this into that sketchbook I'm doing, since it's due in ten days and I am only halfway through. It might look better as a sketch.
