Day 1: New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans is amazing. The French Quarter and Bourbon St is the main area with hundreds of bars, restaurants and people, especially this weekend given that it's St Paddy's weekend and NOLA loves a party. It's still gorgeous though, with narrow streets and ironwork balconies on every building.

We grabbed some lunch and then a couple of drinks and went for a wander - you can drink on the streets which is amazing. We all took a turn on a bucking bronco which has always been on my bucket list, and then met up with some other Mountbatten's who were also in town and had a bigger night than I think we were all expecting.
