I've spent most of the day in the garden with the littlest, me raking and tidying, him happily pottering. He is SO happy being outside and that makes me more happy than can be explained.

When the older boys came back from school we all played together in the garden for a while before I dragged them all to the tip to offload all the days work.

The older two are inside now having a bit of screen time before tea but the littlest and I are back outside, in the drizzle, watching the wood pigeons and tidying up.

I didn't ask him to make this pose, he was just coming towards me with his arms outstretched and I thought it was appropriate!
