Still under the shadow of winter

Like the tree in this photograph, we sit in front of monitors, iPads, tablets, smartphones, alone. BUT, we are, as discussed in this two year old soundcloud recording here, so comfortable being alone together through blip. We are a collective, a hive of images and words held together by strong bonds. Those bonds, illustrated yesterday with linked arms nearly a 1000 strong, will see us through into the future of blipfoto. Whatever she looks like, as the seasons pass(will winter never end in New England?) our community will continue to shine brighter than ever on the internet and in all our open hearts.

This day came in well below freezing with a frigid windchill. More snow tomorrow afternoon, the first day of spring.

Chipmunk friends are bravely emerging and perching on snowbanks for peanuts.
