WEE SURPRISES

The sudden warmth, still air and sunshine is terribly tempting.  I know from experience that getting too enthusiastic in the garden at this time of year is a recipe for injury after a winter of sloth. Still, I cleared a flower bed, emptied out the brassica bed, planted out some viola, cleaned the greenhouse glass and pruned the roses. I also managed just to have a look around - there are always surprises in little dark corners. 

 It's so good to be able to work outdoors again.
