One last swim
Last day of snorkelling & beaches here on Palawan Island. When you see this place on a map, then get dropped off in the middle of the 'sea' it can be rather daunting.
Our first stop; Pambaro Reef, had a sign requesting life jackets be worn at all times in the water. We sent our boat master off to request otherwise....& in we went. Being a conservation & regeneration reef it was alive & well with abundant colourful fish & coral life.
Next stop, had coral, sea horses & fish in abundance - but also sea-lice. Sometimes it's hard to know if it's worth staying longer in the water.
Last stop was a very organised lunch spot - with beach huts & Bain Marie food options to feed a village!! We had planned ahead & taken some basics with us.
Enough time for a swim & shower before pre-dinner drinks.
At that point of just wanting something plain & 'normal'....but that's another week away. Feeling a little dehydrated today too
PS: the place on the map we are at, is awkward to describe
