I got the great idea to press the flowers I got on Valentine’s Day. I was very nervous to see the results, so I used three of the flowers to make sure I would do it right. I set them in between the pages of a book and stacked many other books on top of it. It said to do it for only ten days, but when I opened the books after ten day the flowers still had moisture in them, so I kept them in there for another ten days. Holly had a fantastic time while she would lean against the books and considered it an obstacle to get around while she would play with her toys. On the twentieth day I finally decided to get them out and they all looked great. The white one was my favorite though, since the pedals were flattened perfectly and it turned out very well. I didn’t really know what to do with them after I was done pressing them, so I just have them lying on my bookstand in my bedroom. I hope I can find a better idea for them because I feel like they are going to eventually just get in my way.
