Pick-Up Game

There is no better way for a teenage boy to spend a late afternoon in the fall than being engaged in a game of tackle football. Pads and guards are for sissys and blockers are imiginary. The game continued until darkness forced its end and the players went home tired, hungry, and stinky to mothers who shooed them to showers and clean pajamas before supper. Autumn is a wonderful season!
