MT. HUTT LODGE

Stopped at the lookout at the Waimak Gorge today and this is the view across the bridge to the Mt. Hutt Lodge.   There is very little water in the river to what there usually is, for a braided river the majority or it is stones, not many little riverlets at all.  
The part where we used to try and catch Salmon is dry and although the jet boat seemed to be operating would think he would have to be very careful.
There was snow on the top of Mt. Hutt so Autumn is really here - not over warm here tonight but on power so no worries.
