#Blipfotoforever
Me too. I'm also trying to do the 'hands around the world' thing, but I had to perch the camera on the mantelpiece at lunchtime as I was in a rush.
I don't have any photo-editing software, so wasn't going to be able to crop it - hence, had to chop the top of my own head off, in order to make sure there was no extra room at either side. Rocky thought I'd gone mental!
I'm still terribly confused. I've read the stuff now about how some of the people behind Polaroid are going to be the 'preferred buyers' of Blip; what the hell does that mean?
How could Blip have gone bust when it was in partnership with the very same folk who are now trying to buy it? I wish I understood these things, and I'm certain I'm being very naïve, but (in the words of my wonderful 6 yr old grandson) - I 'just don't get it'!
Like I said yesterday, I'm not going anywhere else - this is my place. However, I'd be a liar if I didn't say that part of the charm of this for me, has always been its inception. The thought that one man (Joe) created a whole world full of people who openly, and trustingly, posted a photo a day and shared their lives with each other - well, that was totally mind-blowing to me.
And the fact that the one man concerned still posted his one photo a day, and was just an ordinary bloke - well, that was even better.
I'm not leaving, and I'm sticking with my original goal, which was 365 consecutive Blips (after which I may become a bit more laisssez faire about it), but I will be a tiny bit sorry if the host of my blipping is some corporation in the US of A.
