Misty spring morning

Why do I often walk around with a heavy DSLR camera when this point-and-shoot compact does a quite reasonable job?  OK, so I don't have the flexibility, but sometimes for a quick blip or similar it's all that one needs. It's a nice little piece of kit, actually, and will probably accompany me on my travels - in addition to the DSLR:-)
