The malootka
We spent a couple of hours at the allotment, managing to time our visit so we didn't have to wait half an hour to cross the road at Leith Links due to the Edinburgh marathon thundering past. By the time we headed back there were just a few stragglers who didn't look as if they would last the distance.
In the afternoon we went up to Holyrood Park where Steve had suggested an impromptu barbie to celebrate the sun being out and his daughter being one month old today. First time we'd met her, what a sweetie. It was delightful to sit out in the sun eating and drinking and blethering.
