Blipfoto Forever

Today many of us re-enacted a challenge we took part in back in 2010, to show our solidarity in this community and our support for its founder, Joe Tree and his staff.

Earlier this week we learned that our beloved Blipfoto had gone into liquidation and our journal with their personal stories may be lost. It has been devastating, as we panicked to try and back-up all our pages. I had 6 years worth and didn't know where to start.

A while ago I thought this past year was going to be too painful to create a Blipbook from but suddenly, it became the year I most needed to save. Our fears have been slightly allayed by Joe announcing, yesterday, that takeover was imminent.

In the meantime were are hoping to bliptogether forever. BTW, the last time this was done we did a different shot everyday for six days and Blipfoto joined up everybody's' shots into a continuous film and projected it huge onto windows in Edinburgh for the world to see.
