Goodbye Hug

I am so saddened by all of this. I think Polaroid are wanting Blip to be the new facebook/instagram and make some money in the process. I also think that they are likely to ruin the thing that made this community so brilliant - people taking great or interesting photos with interesting thought provoking write ups and comments. There is very little of the flippant 'what I happen to be thinking' garbage that is in status updates or random pointless shots on instagram.

I know I am biased but a lot of Blip is Art! The folks to jump ship first were the professional photographers who used (and loved) the original Blipfoto. I feel for me personally now it is time for me to join them.

I will miss it though
