Blippers across the world may know this guy by his pen name - James Herriot. A veterinary surgeon and writer was based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. His favourite view was from Sutton Bank across to Gormire Lake, although little could be seen amongst the mist.

 

Today four of us began anew challenge – to walk The Cleveland Way – a 108 mile route. However we shall be walking in 10 mile bites !
