Catching up

Nine days ago I was wondering if the pink hyacinths would catch up with the blue. As you see, they're well on their way. Lovely sunny day today. 

I spent the morning conversing in German at a U3A group in the village. Our leader is half-German herself and a retired modern languages teacher. I hope it'll freshen up my German that's grown rusty over the past 40 years. Seemed like eine gute Idee! It's a small friendly group so I feel optimistic.
