Hands Across the World

As a technophobe I must admit I found the idea of taking a selfie with hands outstretched a little perplexing. How was I going to pull the trigger as it were. Especially with fingers and toes crossed as suggested by another Blipper. Did it mean mucking about with tripods and timers and all that stuff?
I was going to get my trusty assistant to help, but when I went outside and saw my shadow I realised there was an easier way.
P. S. I was wearing a very loose cardigan, I'm not really that fat!
